Drawing and photography are central to my practice. Both make pressing - if sometimes fictitious - claims to the capture of lost moments.

Looking down, new place

Dancing friend

I couldn't bear that last gory image being the first thing I saw next (note to self: must stop looking at crushed or devoured creatures). So here are two images of my dear friend J. dancing in the sunlight in my dining room last weekend.

Death underfoot

It's a gloriously crisp autumn day, breathtaking really. I am intrigued by how much grisly stuff goes on just where one's foot falls.
