Lovely. I have a selection of old lace and embroideries - some from my great grandmother, others from my father's great aunt. I'm sure they will spark a project of some sort at a point when I have the time and energy to explore their world more. What will you be doing with these?
Thanks Ea - just photos, a new project! The particular eloquence (and muteness) that possessions acquire once their owners have died... there is a kind of poignant silence to these things. I have so much stuff from my various dead (!), but am soon going to write to friends to enlist them for the project - drawing them might be nice too, but these seem (for now) to invite the camera! :)
