Drawing and photography are central to my practice. Both make pressing - if sometimes fictitious - claims to the capture of lost moments.

Crooked foot

Back from South Africa to a singed garden (almost) and utmost knackerhood - have not had time to scan my few South African sketches, but just did this one... for Ea to see that I too have been using a Lamy Safari pen with its blue cartridge - snap! - though her drawings are good!!! Also... my crooked toes are nothing to write home about!

Nice crooked toes! The pen looks os different in the sketchbook - I've been using mine in the large cahier i did my Lisbon dinner portraits in, and that paper is much more absorbent. Now I will have to try it out in the sketchbook with water as well!

Ea - I love it that works people do impact on oneself, and then vice versa - it's what makes this virtual stuff especially rich!
